Bruce Lee,
You have wet our appetites, tell us more of your philosophies!
From the teachings of Bruce Lee: Tao of Jeet Kune Do
"To see a thing uncolored by one's own personal preferences and desires is to see it in its own pristine simplicity."
"The correct opportunity must be waited for and seized."
"An Enlightened Spiritual Teacher helps others to awaken to become a good teacher within themselves first, then guides others along the path, there will be steps that must be followed." Interpretation of Alexander
We often hear you can not build anything at all without first creating a good strong foundation. This applies to everything here and there.
With each Martial Art there is a philosophy...some enlightened and in service to others and some in service to self. The choice is yours to discern and with in each Art all too often the choice can be either. Blessings to you in your search. May your heart seek to know the difference.
Some Arts develop inward qualitities, while others develop a warrior who fights in close combat. Some are for sport and competition while others merely look all show and ego. Let this not deceive you either. Look closer for the philosophy... The list is endless actually. Do you have any specifically that you have questions about? You have left it so enormously wide open?
My cup remains empty...
Love and Light,
suzyq
