Saul & Sheol are literally spelled the same in Ancient Hebrew, where when there is no vowel points, it is spelled the same in most places.
Sheol implies the Underworld/Hell, and in many religious cultures the ruler over Hell is named the same; so in the Norse religion Hel is a female deity over Hell, Hades is the ruler over Hades.
King Saul was evil, and tried to have King David murdered, where David means 'Beloved'.
In the New Testament Yehoshua means 'Lord Saves', and Yeshua means 'Salvation', where Saul was purposely named as the deceiver.
Saul was placing people into the Bed of Adultery, which goes from Isaiah 28:9-19, and in Isaiah 28:20-21 it tells us it is the Bed of Adultery in Hebrew. Saul was teaching people to make a Covenant with Death about the Chief Corner Stone (Messiah); where in Isaiah 28:15+18 the word Sheol is spelled the same as Saul's name, and so it literally says that the devil made a contract with death about the Messiah, and those who believe it, will not be saved when the Judgement Day Fire comes on all the earth.
Saul deliberately contradicts most tenants Christ put forward; almost like it was done on purpose, where those who are wise have seen it, and the rest follow it as if it fits together - which then proves lots are hypocritical.
