If you have 512 megs or more of memory, you can increase system performance by having the core system kept in memory. Go to Start>Run, type in: regedit Follow this string to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\DisablePagingExecutive Double click DisablePagingExecutive Set the value to be 1 Restart your computer for this to take affect

Yeh if you have more RAM it's ok, yet I just tried it with a 3400 athlon 64 bit processor, yet i only have 512 RAM, so it slowed my system down, As normally my fast processor copes with it; set it back again now, thxz for the hint, could work for some people!
